Sunset Terrace Project

Description

This project consists of reconstruction of streets, sewers, and water main from 6500 Sunset Terrace to 73rd Street.  Phases 1-4.

  • $1,497,275.60


Estimated Start Date

  • Phase 1 complete December, 2016
  • Phase 2-4:  Start March 27, 2017

Project Status

  • All work is weather dependent, including heat.
  • The Contractor plans to work Saturdays if weather permits.  All work is weather dependent.


70th Street to 73rd Street

The Contractor will be begin back filling and will be pouring the intersection at 70th Street the week of October 16th.

Call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719. He will assist you with the process. The Contractor plans to works Saturdays if weather permitting.

68th Street to 70th Street

The Contractor will be installing water services the week of October 16th. When the new water services are connected to the existing service, there will be a time when your residence will be without water. This should be a short period. Once the water service is hooked up, the Contractor will be running water from the outside spigot for a period of time. If you experience any issues with water pressure or have rust or dark color water, please stop running the water and call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719. He will assist you with the process.
