No Wipes in the Pipes

No wipes in the pipes

The only thing that should go down your toilet is toilet paper. Some “flushable” wipes claim that they are safe to flush. But they will clog your sanitary sewer line. That leads to expensive repairs.

Other items that people often flush are paper towels, tampons and applicators, baby wipes, and disposable brushes. But all of these can clog your sewer line because they do not break down and get stuck in your sewer pipes. Put these items in the trash instead.

Remember, no wipes in the pipes - only toilet paper!
