[ARCHIVED] 4/10/20 COVID-19 Update

4-10-20 COVID-19 Update

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, the City of Windsor Heights would like to take a moment to remind our community many, many resources exist to help you and your family through these trying times. COVID-19 financial and legal resources can be found on the Polk County Health Department website, located at https://www.polkcountyiowa.gov/health/programs/covid-19/covid-19-financial-and-legal-resources/. COVID-19 case information can be found on the World Health Organization website, located at https://who.sprinklr.com/. 2-1-1 remains a valuable resource for those needing assistance or who have questions related to personal health concerns, and 9-1-1 is still the go to phone number for any emergency needs.

We understand some people’s patience may be wearing thin, and we are sympathetic to the added stress of the COVID-19 restrictions. The restrictions put in place related to COVID-19 were created to slow the spread and get control of this virus. Abiding by the restrictions directly contributes to slowing the spread and we ask you all to continue your vigilance surrounding the restrictions. A little discipline now can help speed up our process of getting back to normal. Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued efforts to this end.

Finally, we would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter and Passover and we encourage you to make the best of your additional time at home with your families.
