The Windsor Heights Community and Events Center opened in July of 2010. This signature facility can seat over 200 people and can be split into two different sized rooms, depending on your special event needs. Since opening, the facility has hosted wedding receptions, birthday parties, corporate retreats/training, and countless other events, including hosting the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama.

Colby Park

Colby Park is the signature Park for the City of Windsor Heights. The park is the location of the annual 4th of July Celebration, band concerts, and other community gatherings. The park includes a playground, trail, pavilion, ball field, and Community Center.

Harmony Park

Harmony Park is a series of outdoor musical instruments in Colby Park. Each instrument is an engaging piece of interactive art, which is constructed for flawless tune and durability.  It is the intention of the City of Windsor Heights to create an inclusive environment within Colby Park, meeting the developmental, emotional and social needs of all children, regardless of their physical ability. The Harmony Musical instruments successfully offer an inclusive play component and require no preexisting skill set.  Each instrument provides a valuable source of enjoyment and multisensory experience for children and individuals of all ages and abilities; including visual, auditory and tactile sources.

Lions Park

Lions Park is a pocket park located behind the Public Safety Building at 1133 66th St. Read about suggestions for updates to Lions Park in the 2020 Park Plan.

Dog Park

The park is located south of Colby Park and I-235, adjacent to the trail and Budget Storage. For the best access, park at Colby Park, (6900 School Street) and walk on the trail south. There is a separate area for small dogs. The park is free to use.
