[ARCHIVED] Reminders for Keeping Windsor Heights Safe and Clean in the Snow

The original item was published from November 28, 2022 11:23 AM to December 2, 2022 3:27 PM

Windsor Heights is a great place to do business, and your help is needed in keeping it clean, safe, and beautiful as the snow season arrives.

How can you do your part?

• Keep your sidewalks shoveled and clear of snow within 48 hours of snowfall

• Don’t push snow from your property to the street or alley; except where, in the cleaning of large commercial drives in the business district it is absolutely necessary to move the snow onto the street or alley temporarily, such accumulation shall be removed promptly by the property owner or agent.  Arrangements for the prompt removal of such accumulations shall be made prior to moving the snow.

If you notice a concern around town, let us know by calling City Hall at 515-279-3662 or submitting it online at windsorheights.org and selecting “Report a Concern” on the homepage.

Not sure what the Windsor Heights ordinances are? They can be viewed online! Go to www.windsorheights.org and select “City Code of Ordinances” on the homepage or give City Hall a call with any questions.
