Around the Community

Blue Moon Counseling is a local mental health practice serving the greater Des Moines area. Our mission is to support the emotional health of individuals and families in our community through accessible, compassionate counseling. One offering we’re especially excited about is our Growing Embrace group — a supportive space for biological, foster, and adoptive mothers to learn and strengthen healthy attachment with their infants (0–12 months). Babies are welcome in the group, and it’s designed to nurture both mom and baby through intentional, guided connection.
