UPDATE POSTED 12.5.25 12:12PM: Weather Update: Windsor Wonderland Continues — Movie & Fun Run Cancelled
We are closely monitoring tomorrow’s winter weather. At this time, Windsor Wonderland will continue as planned from 3–6 PM, with wagon rides, Santa visits, crafts, cookie decorating, hot cocoa, the petting zoo, contests, and plenty of festive fun for the whole family!
However, due to the expected snow and trail conditions, both the 6 PM showing of The Muppet Christmas Carol and the Ugly Sweater Fun Run are cancelled for the safety of all participants.
We appreciate your understanding as we adjust plans to ensure everyone can enjoy the event safely. We're continuing to monitor the weather and will post updates as we have them.
We look forward to seeing you earlier in the day for a warm, joyful, and magical Windsor Wonderland experience. Bundle up and join us for the fun!
Colby Park comes alive with the spirit of the holidays during Windsor Wonderland with FREE family fun! Beginning at 3PM, bring the family, your neighbors and friends for a holiday wagon ride, train rides for the kids, a petting zoo, holiday treats, holiday activities crafts & activities, and MORE including pictures with Santa!
Host A Tree!
Spread holiday cheer! 🎄 Sign up to host an outdoor holiday tree! Decorate it with durable, non-breakable ornaments between December 1–6. Your creativity will light up the community and bring joy to all. Don’t miss this festive opportunity—sign up today to make the season bright! ✨

Volunteer
Help bring the spirit of the holidays during Windsor Wonderland alive! We're looking for volunteers to help make this a holiday event to not miss. We need help from setting up to photography helper to handing out hot chocolate and more!
Pick up a FREE gingerbread house from City Hall and see how your design skills stack up against your neighbors. We provide the kit and you provide the creativity (plus any additional decorations outside the kit)! Completed houses will need to be brought to the Windsor Heights Community Center between 2-3 pm on Saturday, December 6 for judging which will take place between 3 and 5 pm.
Free kits are only for Windsor Heights residents. If you live outside of Windsor Heights, we still welcome you to bring a gingerbread house you created to Windsor Wonderland for the contest.

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join us at 5:30PM as when we countdown to flip the switch and light up Colby Park. We'll also be announcing the winners of the holiday lights contest and gingerbread house contest!
Holiday Lights Contest
Deck the halls and string the holly, Windsor Heights! Beginning at 7 PM on December 5, judges will be driving through Windsor Heights for the best holiday lights. Make sure your decorations are up to be considered. Winners will be announced during Saturday, December 6 Windsor Wonderland events.
